NICE on advanced therapies: an interview with Pilar Pinilla Domínguez

The Autumn Advanced Therapies Network event last year took place at the Phacilitate Leaders Europe Conference, with a session focused on reimbursement models for advanced therapies, featuring Pilar Pinilla-Domínguez.

We previously featured Pilar Pinilla-Dominguez, a senior adviser at NICE, here, in one of our most-read interviews of 2019. Now Pilar’s back in this video interview, produced by ATN Media partner RegMedNet at last year’s Phacilitate Leaders Europe Conference.

A guest speaker at a session co-organised between ATN and Phacilitate, she spoke on reimbursement models for advanced therapies, and here discusses how NICE approach regulating advanced therapeutic medical products (ATMPs) in the UK, the impact of CAR-T therapy has had on the field and also the importance of hearing the patients’ voice when designing and considering therapies.
