New: MedCity Impact Report 2022-23

Over the last year, MedCity’s small team has achieved a sizeable impact, and our latest Impact Report shows just how much.

In the same month as we say goodbye and thank you to Neelam Patel, our CEO for the last four years, our Impact Report demonstrates just how much we’ve been able to drive innovation, investment and the development of vital infrastructure for London life sciences.

The report highlights some key figures on how we have supported the creation of life sciences jobs, generation of gross value added (GVA), and raising of investment for companies we’ve supported. It shows that we have:

• Contributed GVA of £12.1 million 
• Informed and supported the addition of 133,000 sq feet of new R&D space in London
• Supported £96 million investment raised by innovative life sciences companies
