BioJapan Partner Briefing and Networking Event
On Tuesday 17th September we hosted the pre-event briefing for all partners joining the MedCity pavilion at BioJapan 2024.
During the event, hosted at The Royal Society in London, we shared important information ahead of the show including updates on the Japanese life sciences industry, business culture, and conference programme. Following the closed briefing we hosted a networking drinks reception where delegates had the opportunity to meet with selected Japanese life science organisations and industry based in London.
BioJapan 2024
This year we celebrated our 10th anniversary, introduced our new strategy with our mission of making London the global destination of choice to locate and grow life sciences companies. And now, with our launch of the London Offer for Life Sciences, this is a remarkable year to mark our 8th delegation to BioJapan, an event that continues to be a milestone in the MedCity calendar.
Japan’s unwavering dedication to advancing the life sciences industry, fostering innovation, and building global partnerships is evident. The ongoing collaborations between London, MedCity and the Japanese life sciences community are growing stronger and more expansive. Our presence here reaffirms our commitment to these vital partnerships. We extend our gratitude to the Japan Bioindustry Association for organising a remarkable conference, and to Link-J, the Department for Business and Trade Japan and the British Embassy Tokyo for co-hosting our seminar on the 8th October, as well as Mitsui Fudosan UK for kindly sponsoring the networking reception in London.
Gateway to Asia: Life Science Trade Mission 2024
As part of the delegation, Grow London Global will be taking 11 companies as part of the ‘Gateway to Asia’ Trade Mission to Japan (UK Gov. funded). They will then continue onwards to Mainland China and Hong Kong after BioJapan has concluded. Take a look at the Trade Mission companies below.
