The Medical Technology Innovation Facility was funded by Nottingham Trent University and D2N2 Local Growth Funding, the Medical Technologies Innovation Facility opened its new state-of-the-art dual-site facilities at Nottingham Trent University’s Clifton Campus and the Boots Enterprise Zone in Nottingham, UK, November 2020.
Objective/purpose of the event:
Miltenyi Biotec UK are working on a joint project with the Anthony Nolan Cell and Gene Therapies services and the Medical Technologies Innovation Facility (MTIF) in Nottingham. The idea of the joint venture is that the 3 partners will bring together their expertise to provide the necessary tools and support to have start up ATMP companies bring their development plans forwards.
MTIF is an incubator type facility which has the full suite of Miltenyi equipment (along with lots of other great facilities and equipment) and will give early stage companies and researchers the ability to refine and set up their processes using their equipment and cleanroom facilities.
Anthony Nolan CGT offer access and expertise in starting sample handling and availability along with all of the amazing experience they have in ATMP generation.
The roundtable will discuss the relevant capabilities and opportunities of the site and partnership.
Speakers for the roundtable:
- Francesca Gliubich, Director of UKAT as moderator
- Northern AT representative
